Who isn’t tickled by the idea of an Alpaca Brunch?
Experiential Garden Center
Colonial Gardens in Blue Springs is a reimagined garden center that offers a wide range of fun events. My friend and I loved the alpaca brunch we attended this spring.
Alpaca Brunch
We enjoyed our fun experience out near the orchards. Helpful tip, the brunch outdoor eating area is located across the street from the store part of the garden center. I was happy I mistakenly went to the store first as that day the delightful Messner Honey Bus was there. As everyone gathers, enjoy themed coloring sheets for all ages. While any children enjoy a variety of fun kids activities to climb and jump on, alcoholic beverages are available for purchase for the adults. We enjoyed feeding the goats before brunch.
We enjoyed tasty farm fresh food then we got to meet and feed three alpacas.
Workshops, Music, and More
You can follow them on eventbrite to be notified when they have new events. Tickets for Colonial Gardens events are available there. Some other event offerings include: Life on the Farm, Plant Workshops, Farm to Table Dinners, Live Music, Self-Care Sundays, Wood Flower Press Workshop, Butterfly Festival, 80’s Murder Mystery Dinner, Tropical Wine Walk, Fairy Gardens, and more.
They also offer U-pick options for flowers, berries, pumpkins, and apples. On a day we aren’t doing brunch, we look forward to trying the cafe onsite. You can also book private events. They also sell all kinds of plants and gardening supplies.
