A great chance to enjoy all things British conveniently located in Kansas City. The annual British Faire and Tea has been a staple in Kansas City for 37 years! Hosted by DBE Kansas, it’s a fundraiser to support local charities and the Midwest British home senior living center. My family has enjoyed the British Faire for years. We enjoyed it so much that my mom and I joined DBE Kansas after attending the 2019 British Faire. I’m now the regent of my chapter and enjoy a monthly potluck tea party as part of our meetings.
2024 Date and Time
Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 10am-3pm (check the website for most current information, link below)
Shopping at the British Faire and Tea
Browse a variety of British themed booths including offerings from businesses like the Queen’s Pantry Teas of Leavenworth, Celtic Ranch of Weston, and Brits of Lawrence as well as booths from each local chapter of DBE Kansas. (See list vendor list in links below).
Tea and British Food
The tea part of the British Faire and Tea is a wonderful sit down tea with scones, savory sandwiches, and sweet treats. Tickets sell out very quickly, so if you want to enjoy this great tea, get on the email list and watch social media to see what day tickets are released. Fortunately there are several other ways to enjoy great British Food when the sit down tea is sold out. You can pre-order a tea-in-a-box that includes all the great tea treats. Another option is the Tuck Box offering counter service tea and British goodies. Some of the booths also sell food while supplies last.
Entertainment and Children’s Area
You don’t know what fun entertainment you might find at the Kansas City British Faire and Tea. Dancers, bagpipes, harp, tombola game, or even a visit from royalty. Check out the fun children’s area with British activities.
